First and foremost, we are fans. Super fans, in fact. We love creating fan sites and fan fiction software to support our favorite shows. Fan site "building" started as a hobby and has become our passion. Our first site, L-word.com, launched in December 2003. We had no idea that we would become one of the most trafficked lesbian web sites on the Internet, or that we would host one of the largest fanfic archives for any tv show. But it happened.

During that time, we developed our own fanfiction software based on what we were seeing - as readers and writers, not computer programmers or venture capitalists or some corporate flunky. We are the end user, and we develop what we know fan site visitors want when they come to our sites.
